Pictured is a fine Rigby flintlock police/militia pistol with captive ramrod and fishtail grip (EUR 1 300-1 600).

The sale includes early polearms, edged weapons including rapiers and an 18th century Russian dirk. Swedish military arms are well represented and the sale includes an East India company musket, several brown bess's, a pair of Italian flintlocks and eastern arms.

The sale also includes a catalogue of modern arms.
